The Four Feathers, the four feathers, four feathers
The Four Feathers (1939)

Directed by Zoltan Korda

Resigning his commission just as his fellow officers go off to fight in the Sudan, Harry Faversham (John Clements), has to prove his bravery when friends and fiance present him with the four feathers of cowardice. His mission will take him to the heart of the Mahdi's kingdom, and the fever-ridden prison at Omdurman.
A classic tale of heroism which stormed the box office on release in 1939.
The first time I saw this film was when I was about 10 or 12 years old. My sister took me to the cinema to see it and I watched it again in June 2003 and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
