FRANK SINATRA LIVE 1943-46 (Jazz Hour) Further superia air-shots.
Most intriguing of all are three numbers (Couldn't Sleep A Wink Last Night,
Close To You,
You'll never know) with typically gorgeous Stordahl orchestral arrangements which Sinatra would have used at his first
recording dates for Columbia.
FRANK SINATRA LITE UP TIME SHOWS (Jazz Band)

(e.g. "You're The Cream In Ny Coffee, Body & Soul, All Of Me.

THE RAREST SINATRA [1937-46] Decade Records
Fascinating collection of broadcast material - including two TV items from 1951 and an absorbing New York-BBC link-up
from 1944, with Sinatra singing "These Foolish Things" and "Come Out, Wherever You Are". Earliest item finds a
non-singing Sinatra conducting (!) an awful Dixie combo the Four Sharps on Fred Allen's Town Hall Tonight show... rare,
but understandably so...?
SINATRA: PORTRAITS FROM THE PAST [1943-46] Bravura
Satisfying collection of radio material, a mixture of songs he never did elsewhere, including

commercial project involving local TV.
FRANK SINATRA LIVE, VOLUME 4 Golden Age
Rumoured at one time to have been taped by Capitol for release as Sinatra's first live album, this splendid 18-song
performance was rcorded in Seattle Washington, in June 1957. Nelson Riddle conducts as Frank reprises classics such
as "You Make Me Feel So Young", The Lady Is A Tramp, My Funny Valentine"' "One For My Baby"... and sings his latest
single "Hey! jealous Lover", under protest...

Here"; "You Are Always In My Heart"; "Snootie Little Cutie").

VOLUME THREE: "LONG AGO & FAR AWAY": RADIO RARITIES [1943-1949] VJC
VOLUME FOUR: "I'LL BE SEEING YOU" VJC.
The most interesting and comprehensive series of Forties material, mostly culled from radio shows and rehearsals of
shows. Vols. I & II are taken from recently-discovered 16" radio discs, in pristine condition. Vol.III is perhaps even
more significant: along with radio excerpts, it contains a Hollywood Bowl concert material (1945, 1948) of superb
quality.
YOUNG FRANK SINATRA: IN THE BLUE OF EVENING Natasha Imports.
27 tracks featuring a consistently rewarding batch of 1943 War Transcriptions, plus a quartet of Government
Transcriptions from 1948, 1952.
FRANK SINATRA - LIVE IN ITALY Disc Magic

Bill Miller Sextet during his 1962 charity world tour; Disc Two has Miller directing The John Flanagan Orchestra, 24

uninhibited "Road To Mandalay".
FRANK SINATRA WASHINGTON, DC, [1973] JRRecords
Sinatra at the White House - and introduced by Tricky Dicky" himself- just prior to the re-emergence of Ol' Blue Eyes.
Easing his way back into the vocal limelight, with 10 numbers. Not yet back to top form. maybe, but sounding good on
the likes of "One For My Baby", "I Have Dreamed, 'Try A Little Tenderness and, of course, patriotic plus on 'The House
I Live In"...
SALOON SINGER Encore Records
Two-thirds of the never-released Reprise cut Live-at-the-Sands session in November 1961 including "Moonlight In
Vermont"; "Here's That Rainy Day","In The Still Of The Night"; "Please Be Kind" plus all his solo items (sans Martin,
Davis) at the Villa Venice, Chicago, gig of December 1962.
SINATRA IN THE SPOTLIGHT [2 Lps] Retrospect.
With orchestra conducted by Don Costa, Sinatra sounds inspired by the enthusiastic response from a packed Montreal
Auditorium in May 1975. Repertoire includes revived oldies "But Beautiful", "This Love Of Mine" and
Put Your Dreams Away,,
, the usual regulars, plus the Jenkins-arranged, Legrand.composed 'Saddest Thing Of All", recorded the previous fall, but never to be officially released
THE SINATRA SAGA Bravura
39 live performances, encompassing the Fifties.through~ the-Eighties and including excerpts from a 1959 Australian concert with the Red Norvo Quintet and a trio of numbers with the Basie Band in the Sixties. All in all the Voice doesn't sound too bad.
THE SINATRA SAGA. VOLUME 2 Bravura
20 more live tracks from 1976 to 1986. The voice tends to sound a bit more roughed-up on the later
performances (e.g. "Here's To The Band", "Change Partners" Overall sound, like its predecessors, is good.
SINATRA: THE PARIS CONCERT/RECORDED LIVE AT THE LIDO, JUNE 5,1962 Encore.
The title says it all - one of the world charity tour concerts, with Sinatra in sparkling form throughout this 23-number concert. Bill Miller leads a spirited sextet from the piano. "Moonlight In Vermont", "Night & Day", and, yes, both 'April in Paris" and "I Love Paris" feature among the titles.
